Blue Jay Runner, Neal Fitzpatrick, Medals at LHSAA Championship Meet

Senior Neal Fitzpatrick, who won the gold medal at  Novemberís state cross country meet in Natchitoches,
won a bronze medal on Saturday, May 4 ó finishing
third in the 3200-meter event at the LHSAA track championship meet. Fitzpatrick, who plans to
continue his running career in college, finished
the race in 9:31. The event was held on the
campus of LSU in Baton Rouge. 

Blue Jays Compete in Crusader Relays 

Sophomore Raymond Nash competes in the triple jump during the Crusader Relays.

The Blue Jay Track & Field team competed in the Crusader Relays on Wednesday, March 27 at Tad Gormley Stadium. Several Blue Jays posted strong individual showings. Senior Neal Fitzpatrick took first in the 1600 meter run, while sophomore Matthews Vargas finished the 3200 meter run in second place. Seniors Jacob Campos and Jack Hebert placed third in shot put and javelin, respectively.
